Permian Basin Behavioral Health Center Begins Construction In Midland, Texas

The operators Midland County Hospital District (Midland, Texas) and Ector County Hospital District (Odessa, Texas), along with the Texas Facilities Commission (Austin, Texas), broke ground on the Permian Basin Behavioral Health Center in Midland, Texas.

Located on 54 acres, the 200-bed facility will offer short- and long-term treatment for psychiatric patients of all ages. The $225 million facility will house a crisis stabilization unit, an outpatient center and a community education center.

The project team includes the architect. H.K.S. (Dallas) and general contractor Robins and Morton (Birmingham, Alabama).
